A latest trend that might even be primeval

Narendra Modi And Rahul Gandhi

“BJP_divides_India” is the latest trending hashtag that is circling Twitter with rage. The words along with those posts that are being shared resemble some utter truths, which we are facing in the country at present.

The news: We visit our social media to check what is happening in and around us, and then we see a trend that might be bitter to a few, but is something that cannot be ignored nor denied.

  • The latest hashtag that reads #BJP_divides_India isn’t something new, and with that it is also not an expression that can be digested as smooth as a simple glass of water. It is lucid, it is vivid and with that, keep a note of it as it is a time to be vocal.
  • The Twitter posts share pictures of Hindu and Muslim communities being divided into two separate classes.
  • A few posts on the social media platforms even denote how politicians involve the youngsters of India into riots and other communalised hatred, while their own sons are enjoying the luxury.

What is going on: With a lot that goes around in this country, the recent protest and hideous decisions in Karnataka have provoked people, who then took to social media. The netizens are seen showing how ill-favoured the PU colleges are, after they made the hijab-wearing girls and those who belong to the Hindu community, sit separately.

  • Although, this might just be a recent issue, but if seen “chronologically” (pun intended), a series of riots and attempts to incite the Indians against minorities or make people delusional dates way back into the BJP history.

What are they saying: Netizens have even shared such posts which clearly depict that the government is continually prioritizing riots, when they should actually be prioritizing education, the issue of unemployment and other major problems faced in the country.
