The Mahindra Group’s publicity effort has entertained Twitter, particularly after the Group’s chairman and avid tweeter, Anand Mahindra, joined involved.
The news: Mahindra Truck And Bus, the Mahindra Group’s commercial vehicle manufacturing subsidiary, released a video with brand ambassador Ajay Devgn on Sunday. Ajay Devgn was portrayed as being annoyed while filming an ad for the brand in the produced video.
What he said: “Script kyun badal rahe ho ye baar baar? (How come the script is continually changing?),” in the video, an irritated Devgn is seen asking. The actor sighs exasperatedly when someone off-camera shyly admits that the script has only been revised four times. The video concludes with a “Keep watching” warning, implying that there will be more to come.
- Sharing the clip on Twitter, Anand Mahindra wrote: “I was informed that @ajaydevgn lost his cool on a @MahindraTrukBus film shoot.
- “I better leave town before he comes after me in one of our trucks…” he added, apparently in jest.
Mahindra’s reaction amused many, racking up more than a thousand ‘likes’ on the microblogging platform.
