The Andhra Pradesh police on Saturday destroyed cannabis worth Rs 850 crore at Koduru village near Anakapalli in the Visakhapatnam district.
The News: Andhra Pradesh Police destroyed 2 lakh Kg ganja which was seized in line with the mandate of GoAP & vision of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, AP Police launched Operation Parivarthana to curb ganja menace on November 1 in the year 2021.
• The ganja were seized in the last one and a half years to two years at various police stations in North Andhra districts.
• The drugs were set on fire in the presence of state police chief D.Gautam Sawang.
• Andhra Pradesh police took to twitter and released the video of the process saying “Historic occasion in the annals of #APPolice: An unprecedented 2La Kgs of seized Ganja Destruction by #APPolice along with Drug Disposable Committee, Special Enforcement Bureau at Koduru(V), Anakapalli(M), #Visakhapatnam District.”
