The Maharashtra State Board for Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has decided to postpone the two HSC exams.
The news: MSBSHSE took the decision following a fire incident that had engulfed a truck carrying question papers in Ahmednagar district on Wednesday morning.
- Reports said that around 2.5 lakh question papers of 25 subjects, including Marathi, Hindi and other minor languages, were gutted in the fire.
- Now as the detail the exams were scheduled on 5 and 7 March after the question papers have been burnt in the fire incident reported on Wednesday and will now be held on 5 and 7 April.
- A truck carrying ‘important and confidential papers’ of the upcoming Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination to Pune suffered heavy damage after it caught fire in the early hours of Wednesday on the Pune-Nashik Highway, said Ahmednagar Police.
