Mystery  continues After the Dead Cyrus Mistry,6 Killed In 24 Hours

Palghar, Sept 22– In the space of a day, six people died in two separate accidents on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway in the Palghar region of Maharashtra.

After industrialist Cyrus Mistry’s passing on September 4th, this particular section of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad motorway came under scrutiny.

On Monday night, a car travelling from Mumbai to Gujarat struck a road divider before striking a tempo. The collision claimed the lives of the tempo driver and three of the car’s occupants.

Two people were killed when a car hit a tempo on Tuesday afternoon at the same location and almost in the same way.

After the deaths, Palghar Police filed a complaint against the business in charge of the road’s repair work.

One of India’s most travelled and poorly constructed roads is the one between Ahmedabad and Mumbai. Many big trucks that transport goods between Delhi and Mumbai use the portion of the highway near Palghar, and because the truckers insist on using the right lane, motorists are forced to recklessly overtake from the left.

Following the mishaps, police on September 21 lodged a complaint against the company in charge of maintaining the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway. The car probably hit a tempo on the highway while attempting to avoid a pothole on September 19, which led to the disaster.

According to authorities, the road maintenance business neglected to fill potholes on the route, which resulted in collisions that killed people.

According to the Palghar police spokesperson, Sachin Navadkar, no one has been detained in relation to this. According to the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act, the police have filed cases in relation to the two incidents.
