New Delhi, Sept 21– India will play against Pakistan on October 7 in the Women’s T20 Asia Cup, which will be played in Sylhet, Bangladesh. The 15-day competition, which will include seven teams, will begin on October 1.
A round-robin format will be used for the competition, with the top four teams moving on to the semifinals.
The participating teams include those from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the host country, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, and Malaysia.
Due to Taliban governance, Afghanistan no longer has a women’s team.
India plays Sri Lanka on the first day of the season. Before facing Pakistan, they will play against Malaysia on October 3 and the UAE on October 4. The final will be held on October 15.
On October 8, India will compete against Bangladesh, and on October 10, Thailand will play against India in a round-robin match.
